The bulk of NFL free agency has concluded, and the 2023 NFL draft has been settled for almost a month. This means the Cleveland Browns and the other 31 teams have. for the most part, set their roster in stone as they prepare to hit OTAs, training camp, and the preseason. And for the Browns, they have upgraded their roster’s weaknesses.
This, however, has not moved the needle for ESPN as their power index gives the Browns just a 38 percent chance to make the playoffs. ESPN has projected the Browns, a team that desperately needs to get back into postseason contention, to win nine games in 2023.
While their roster is high-quality on paper, they have to prove it on the field.
