Finally, Apex Legends is heading to the beach. In Season 11, curiously titled Escape, our favorite characters will get to kick back, relax, and perhaps dodge a stray bullet or two.
Escape’s launch trailer teases a bunch of stuff for Apex Legends players to look forward to when it releases on Nov. 2. Most importantly, it’s new legend Ash, who was one of the baddies in Titanfall 2. She seems just as murderous as ever, considering half the trailer is just her coldly stabbing every other cast member. Seriously, what did my man Mirage ever do to her?

Another notable addition one can glean from the trailer is Mirage picking up a C.A.R. SMG, a weapon from Titanfall 2 that’s new to Apex Legends. There are also spiders. Like, big, nasty spiders that we’ll have to mow down in some sort of PvE element. Then, of course, the tropical environment is probably a teaser for the new map, but it’s hard to say. Escape’s preview page suggests as much, though.
“No matter how beautiful it seems, every corner of the Outlands is a dangerous place,” Respawn said. “You’d be wise to remember that.”
Precisely the sort of thing you want to hear while out on vacation, right?
