Erling Haaland drops major Erik Botheim to Rangers transfer hint

Erling Haaland drops major Erik Botheim to Rangers transfer hint

ERLING HAALAND appears to have dropped a major hint over Erik Botheim's Rangers transfer interest.

The newly-signed Manchester City striker teased a possible move to Ibrox for the Norwegian striker as he commented on an Instagram upload.

Replying to an image of Botheim and himself enjoying the off-season, Haaland wrote: "I’m feeling it😎".

The comment appears to be a hint that Botheim could be heading to Glasgow over the summer with Rangers supporters adopting the anthem.

The Sunset Bros x Marc MacCabe tune has been played at Ibrox after victories with incredible scenes showing fans partying to the song in the run to the Europa League final - including the win over Haaland's former club Borussia Dortmund.

Botheim has been linked with a summer transfer to Ibrox as Giovanni van Bronckhorst looks to bolster his squad ahead of the new season.

The striker, 22, is currently without a club after terminating his contract with Russian club Krasnodar after the invasion of Ukraine.

Rangers fans were quick to pick up on Haaland's transfer tease as they flooded the comments.

One wrote: "the same song played at Ibrox at full time when Rangers knocked Dortmund out👀👀a hint over where Botheim is going to be playing next season 🇬🇧"

And another commented: "if that's not a hint I don't know what is 🇬🇧🇬🇧"
