- Euphoria actor Eric Dane says he plans to fight his amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) “as much as I can”.
- Dane appeared on Good Morning America, where he said that his right side is no longer functioning, his left arm is getting weaker, and he feels he may lose the use of his left hand soon.
- ALS, an incurable condition, affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, leading to increasing muscle paralysis. Dane's symptoms began over a year ago with weakness in his right arm.
- Dane credited his wife, Rebecca Gayheart, for her support, saying they have become better friends and parents throughout his disease.
- Despite his diagnosis and the challenges it presents, Dane is returning to film season three of Euphoria and recently starred in Amazon Prime Video’s new series, Countdown.
