England supporter at Wembley wanted after police officer left with broken collar bone in assault

A police officer suffered a broken collar bone in a suspected assault after disorder between England and Germany fans at a Wembley game last year.

Fans clashed at the Green Man pub in Wembley’s Dagmar Avenue before the Uefa Nations League game on September 26, 2022.

Scotland Yard has released an image of a man they want to find over the alleged attack.

The man pictured is thought to be an England fan, and is sought by police over an assault on a police officer which left them with a broken collar bone.

The assault, which happened at roughly 6.20pm, was part of wider disorder ahead of the game.

This saw a group of 100 men, many masked, approach the pub through an alley leading towards the car-park, with violence breaking out.

While a number of the group were wearing England hats and scarves, they were found to be Germany fans.

They entered the beer garden of the pub and began assaulting customers, punching people and throwing projectiles including traffic cones.

The group fled when police arrived, with the disorder lasting around two minutes.

A number of people sustained head and facial injuries, while three people sustained serious leg, wrist and thumb injuries.
