England reveal Ireland team for Saturday - but it's five years too late

England have revealed the Ireland team for Saturday's clash at Twickenham - but it's more than five years too late.

Eddie Jones' side welcome their Six Nations rivals to London for a warm-up clash for next month's World Cup in Japan.

But if you are to believe the England Rugby website - the likes of Brian O'Driscoll, Paul O'Connell and Jamie Heaslip will be dusting off their boots for the match.

The site have published a preview for the game that states the correct England starting fifteen, whereas the Irish lineup is very different from the official one released yesterday.

Instead it seems to be the same Irish starting team and bench from the 2014 Six Nations between the two countries.

The back-line sees the return of the famous centre partnership of O'Driscoll and Gordon D'Arcy with fellow retired international Andrew Trimble on the wing.

Devin Toner has been reunited with O'Connell in the engine room, while Mike Ross, Chris Henry and Heaslip will have to get back in shape fairly quickly too.

There are also spots on the bench for the likes of Martin Moore, Isaac Boss and Paddy Jackson.

This could all be a bad omen for Ireland who fell to a narrow 13-10 when this team lined out at Twickenham in 2014.
