England line-up confirmed for World Cup clash with Croatia as major star benched

  • Tuchel has opted to leave Arsenal star Bukayo Saka on the bench, with the winger struggling with an Achilles issue, and has named Noni Madueke in his starting XI .
  • Anthony Gordon has got the nod over Marcus Rashford on the left wing, with Jude Bellingham starting ahead of Morgan Rogers in the No 10 position.
  • Tuchel has also picked John Stones and Ezri Konsa at the heart of his defence, with Marc Guehi having to settle for a spot on the bench.
