England fans burst into song after Harry Kane's opening goal

This is the moment Camp and Furnace in Liverpool erupted into celebration after England's opening goal against Ukraine.

It was a sold-out crowd at the event as fans watched on hoping that the Three Lions took a step closer to bringing home the elusive Henri Delaunay trophy.

As the ball hit the back of the net, the spectators jumped up in unison and burst into song as Harry Kane's goal put England 1-0 up within four minutes of kick off.

The winner from tonight's match will face Denmark in the semi-finals on Wednesday night, with Italy and Spain in the other side of the draw after their respective wins over Belgium and Switzerland.

Prior to kick-off, fans were in high spirits for the quarter-final clash at the sold-out event in the Baltic Triangle.

After travelling supporters were warned they wouldn't be allowed into the stadium by the Italian embassy, they cheered on from afar as England took a step closer to making the semi-final.
