A woman in her 40s has died after being attacked at a property in north London.
Police were called to Tennyson Close, Enfield, at around 7.30pm on Saturday, to reports of a woman with serious injuries.
She was found with stab injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody.
Police say no other suspect is being sought in connection with the death.
The victim and the suspect are related to one another, police said.
A post-mortem examination will take place in due course. Her next of kin have been informed.
