Emre Can says he complained to Jurgen Klopp that Liverpool training was too hard

Emre Can has admitted he complained to Jurgen Klopp that training at Liverpool was too tough, but says he works even harder at Juventus.

The Germany international joined the Turin giants on a free transfer in the summer, bringing four years at Anfield to an end.

He stands on the brink of winning the Serie A title in his first season in Turin, while Juve are also in the quarter-finals of the Champions League where they'll face Ajax on Wednesday.

"I already complained to Jurgen Klopp about the hard training in Liverpool ! But the training here at Juventus is a bit tougher," Can told an interview with DAZN and Goal.com .

Can added that although Klopp was disappointed that his fellow countryman left the Reds in the summer, he is still in touch with his former boss.

“He was disappointed [Klopp]. He wanted me to stay in Liverpool, but accepted my decision," he said.
