Eagle eyed Emmerdale viewers think they have uncovered the true identity of new show villain, who is the father of character Chloe Harris.
According to The Mirror, it's been revealed that Chloe's criminal dad is currently in prison, but he's still managing to keep an eye on things via CCTV cameras.
Character Kerry Wyatt made her return, as she was unveiled as the family's cleaner at their mansion, where Chloe now resides.
During the latest instalment of the ITV soap certain details came to light including the fact her dad was in prison, and that sadly her mother had passed away.
Viewers already knew that Chloe's sister Gemma had died three years ago, but they didn't know the rest of Chloe's backstory amid theories about who she might be.
Viewers were intrigued on Tuesday to find out about her parents, as they continued to speculate her father could be a past character.
But it's Chloe's surname, on top of the prison link, that sent viewers into meltdown believing they had cracked the case.
A former villain on the show who is now in prison is Pierce Harris, who notably shares Chloe's surname.
Pierce was sent to prison in 2017 after he raped his wife, and village resident, Rhona Goskirk, while more recently he was sent back to prison for holding Vanessa Woodfield hostage, and killing Graham Foster.
This all happened in 2020, while it's not clear if Pierce could be Chloe's dad given there has never been mention of him and ex-wife Tess having kids.
It's not been revealed when Chloe's mother died or how as of yet, or what her name was, so it remains a mystery of who she was.
Pierce also did not mention the loss of a child when he returned last year, so it seems unlikely he is Chloe's dad - and perhaps the surname is all a red herring.
This didn't stop fans speculating on Twitter though, with one writing: "Nah. Her dads a criminal whose in jail. I think it might be Pierce (Rhona's ex) his last name is Harris."
A second agreed: "Chloe HARRIS.. only other Harris I know (who just so happens to be in prison) is Pierce Harris."
Another wrote: "Chloe’s last name is Harris. Any relation to Pierce?"
That said, some viewers thought Emmerdale were trying to throw them off the scent with the surname, and that she could actually be the daughter of another village villain - linked to Charity Dingle.
Declan Macey fled Emmerdale after accidentally killing his nephew Robbie, while trying to murder his cheating wife Charity in 2014.
He did sneak back to the village to right some wrongs, landing Charity in it too, before fleeing again.
Despite the fact Declan was not in prison, viewers can't help but think Chloe is tied to him and perhaps Declan wants revenge.
One viewer wrote: "It’s Declan’s house isn’t it??"
Another said: "It’s gonna be him. It makes sense. Sarah has Mias heart and Ella is dead.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
