Emmerdale viewers issued a worrying prediction as Leyla Cavanagh vowed to quit drugs.
The character, played by Roxy Shahidi, is going through a turbulent period on the ITV show. Leyla is married to village doctor Liam Cavanagh - and the couple have struggled since Liam's daughter, Leanna, was murdered by Meena Jutla last summer.
Leyla has since suffered a miscarriage - and the stressful period has prompted her to turn to drugs. She has since been dealing with her worsening addiction issues over the past few months.

Leyla was caught red-handed by former love interest David Metcalfe in last night's show. The character, played by Matthew Wolfenden, was shocked by the revelation and vowed to tell her husband so she could get the necessary help.
David was shocked as he discovered Leyla lied about how long she had been taking drugs for in tonight's show. However, she reassured him she would quit now to save her marriage.
Leyla turned down an offer from a drug dealer at the end of Wednesday's episode, but viewers following the show on Twitter are not convinced she has overcome her addiction.
Teena said: "David shouldn’t trust Leyla, if she overdoses he’ll wish he’d told Liam…"
Jamie added: "Stop being selfish Leyla & just confess + David's right, you need professional help."
Pam commented : "David, do the right thing...shop Leyla...save her from herself"
