Many Emmerdale fans were all left asking the same question during a dramatic episode of the soap.
On Thursday evening, Emmerdale viewers watched Dan being questioned for his alleged attack on Lloyd. In recent weeks, Dan has not been happy with Lloyd’s pursuit of his daughter Amelia.
After some serious questioning, Dan was released by police during the latest edition of the soap. Although, the investigations continue.

Given the police featured heavily, some Emmerdale fans were concerned not to see the village’s favourite copper PC Mike Swirling make an appearance. Many took to Twitter to ask about her whereabouts.
We saw @@ASuperGav state: “Not a PC Swirling in sight.” While @emmerdale269s asked: “Where’s PC Swirling in all of this?”
Another viewer @emma28du2 said: “This is a mistake. PC Swirling is needed.”
Elsewhere, many Emmerdale fans didn’t like how ‘pantomime’ the police came across. Again, expressing their thoughts on social media.

We saw @vlcurrie post: “Just tuned into #emmerdale to see yet another thick as a plank portrayal of a police officer.” While @Samanth22356123 added: “Real life police must get sick to death of being portrayed in soaps as sarcastic pantomime villains.
Another viewer @stevebethere said: “The soap police not interested in a stalker after a young girl lol #emmerdale.” And @yogaha2 concluded: "@emmerdale Why do the writers always portray the police as gormless idiots? Sort it out.”
