Emmerdale viewers baffled by Gabby's 'magically appearing' baby bump

Emmerdale fans have been left perplexed as they spotted a major blunder on Monday night's episode of the ITV soap.

Eagle eyed viewers noticed that Gabby Thomas' baby bump "magically appeared" during tense scenes with the baby's father, Jamie Tate, at Home Farm.

Jamie was seen getting an ear full from Gabby when she caught him eavesdropping on his mum Kim Tate through the living room door, Daily Star reports.

However, viewers were less concerned with what was being said and more interested in where Gabby's noticeable baby bump had "suddenly appeared" from.

One fan tweeted: "At last Gabby has a bump showing - about time!"

A second said: "Gabby's bump has magically appeared!"

Someone else posted: "Finally! Gabby has a bump! Never thought I'd see the day!"

"Good to finally see Gabby and the bump on-screen!" someone else congratulated.

But others weren't so sure there was a bump to see, as they scrutinised their screens: "Where is Gabby's bump?" one questioned.

"Gabby holding an imaginary bump," someone else complained.

Many praised Gabby for being "sassy" as she confronted Jamie, as the youngster said: "Caught you."

As Jamie looked around, confused, Gabby elaborated: "Spying and lurking."

"In my own house," Jamie was quick to point out.

But Gabby firmly put him in his place, as she replied: "It's your mum's house actually!"

Jamie finally uncovered his mum's plan to weed out her mystery poisoner on Monday night, as he found the camera she'd hidden in the horse's head statue.

And, as Kim caught him looking through the CCTV footage, Jamie insisted he was just looking to erase a clip of him and Dawn getting intimate - in the living room.

Jamie was left red-faced as he had to show his mum the footage to prove that he hadn't been trying to poison her - but he insisted they should go to the police rather than continue with Kim's scheme.

But Kim was sure her way was the best way, as her former flame Will seemed to be eyeing up the Home Farm business with suggestions of holding small festivals on the grounds.

It comes after she lined up her main suspects - Jai, Will, Al, Gabby, Jamie and Dawn - for a dinner party ruse, with the aim of figuring out who had been spiking her brandy.

Elsewhere in the village on Monday, Wendy went to lawyer Ethan about her son Luke's admission that he attacked his brother Lee before his death.

Many fans are hoping that Aaron's husband Robert Sugden could be making a return to the Dales, as Wendy hoped his prison sentence could be shortened by Luke's confession.
