Shila Iqbal has been thrust into the spotlight - and behind the scenes - after being upgraded to an official cast member of Emmerdale.
The Manchester Act Up North and David Johnson Drama student has made a dramatic return to the long running ITV soap after first appearing in a guest role last year.
Now Shila has returned as series regular Aiesha Jutla - and the team in charge of Emmerdale are making sure they get their moneys wroth from her.
Not only is Shila in front of the cameras again as Manpreet Jutla’s daughter, but she has been put to work behind-the-scenes by the team.

“Lights, camera, action! Shila Iqbal shows us what's behind the sets in studio #Emmerdale,” the soap announced across social media.
They shared a snap of a smiling Shila showing everyone how the glamour of television really does stop immediately outside the camera view of a set.
The up-and-coming actress was posed beside some camera equipment and a rubbish bin - with the cheap MDF boards that make up the back of stage sets clear for all to see.

Despite being snapped in the least glamorous part of the set, Shila has already revealed how excited she is to be back on the soap.
"I am over the moon to be back at Emmerdale as a regular," Shila gushed to DigitalSpy.
"My family love Emmerdale and to be appearing in a show that you've grown up watching just feels like a dream! I'm really grateful to the producers for bringing me back,” she continued.

"Everyone has been lovely, especially my on-screen family, who have just been so welcoming and have really made me feel at home. I have to be careful not to call cast members by their character names though!" she added.
Emmerdale unleashed other photos taken between recent scenes of the show - with another snap showing Patrick Mower, Fiona Wade, Rebecca Sarker, Chris Bisson and Bhasker Patel gathered together for a glowing photo inside the set of the Woolpack pub.
Mimi Slinger, Joe Warren Plant and Jack Downham featured in another behind-the-scenes snap, while onscreen enemies proved they are BFFs in real life as the soap shared another snap: "No frenemies here! Amy Walsh, Roxy Shahidi and Louisa Clein are all smiles in between scenes."
