Emmerdale star Danny Miller in explosive Love Island rant as he brands contestants 'biggest bunch of 'b***ends'

Emmerdale star Danny Miller has hit out at this year's Love Island contestant in an explosive Twitter rant.

Danny, who plays Aaron Dingle on the ITV soap, called the cast “biggest bunch of b***ends” in the now-deleted social media post which appeared to mock Faye Winter’s “shade of lipsticks.”

The soap actor went on to criticise the TV show insisting that it's impossible to find love in the unnatural setting of the villa.

The 30-year-old, who found love with his fiancée Steph Jones six years ago, shared his concern for the younger generations in society who ‘look up’ to the dating show, The Mirror reports.

Danny wrote: “We live in a world where our younger generation are pushed to ‘find love’ in a villa with the biggest bunch of b***ends you’d ever meet in your life.

“Aged 24 and ‘found love’ on a TV show with a girl who has 72 different shades of lipstick colours that make you want to give up.”

Danny’s rather furious rant divided his fanbase as several flocked to agree with the star’s opinion, while others insisted that he was too harsh on the contestants.

“Couldn’t have said it better myself man. These people are wanna-be celebrities who go on the show for fame and not love,” replied one Love Island hater.

Another echoed: “Faye’s lipstick has turned me off watching it. No joke.”

“Yeah, I just can’t warm to the idea of this show no matter how hard I try,” someone else shared.

On the other side of the coin though, more Love Island fans flocked to tell Danny to give the show ‘a chance’.

“You obviously haven’t given the show a chance and have just turned on the TV with a pre-conceived idea of what it’s all about,” suggested one Twitter user.

While another fumed: “Gosh, it’s an entertainment show. It’s fun. Take a chill pill and go back to bed old man.”

Although the islanders may currently be on the hunt for love, the same can’t be said for Danny who is gearing up to tie the knot with his long-term love.

The lovebirds first met at primary school, and now Danny is set to make his childhood sweetheart his wife.

Danny and Steph, who have been dating for over two years, are currently expecting their first child together.
