With killer Meena Jutla still on the streets of Emmerdale, none of the villagers are safe.
The serial killer could now kill again after already claiming the lives of her former best friend Nadine, Leanna Cavanagh, Andrea Tate and Ben Tucker.
She's also not afraid of resorting to sexual assault allegations to cover up her crimes, as next week's episodes will show.
Elsewhere in Emmerdale, Tracy could be set to leave the village for Nottingham. Will this put a reunion with Nate in jeopardy?
And Priya returns to work for a determined first day back, but finds the discomfort of her burns a distraction.
The festive season has been a rollercoaster for Emmerdale fans and the soap is now headed for even more drama. Here’s what’s coming up on the soap next week…
Will Meena kill again?
Meena (Paige Sandhu) uses Vinny’s phone to send Mandy a reassuring message and keep her off the trail, after she kidnapped him and left him with her sister Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker), who she's also held captive.
This comes after Vinny (Bradley Johnson) turned detective and began to suspect Meena had something to do with Ben’s death.
Vinny now listens in horror as Manpreet tells him of Meena’s previous victims - before reassuring Manpreet they will get out of this alive.
Remembering his house keys in his pocket, he kicks them over to Manpreet just before Meena returns.
Meena forces another dose of drugs on Manpreet, while Vinny watches on, knowing that the end might be near as Meena wheels in an IV set-up.
Meanwhile, over at the doctor’s surgery, GP Liam (Jonny McPherson) is surprised to discover that Meena’s medical records do not mention her pregnancy or miscarriage.
The next day, Manpreet continues to fight the drugs in her system and finally manages to reach the keys.
Vinny loses consciousness before Manpreet manages to snap the cable ties on her hands.
When Meena returns to the barn, a freed Manpreet attacks her, wounding her sister’s wrist with a piece of wood.
Enraged, Meena fights to regain the upper hand and retrains Manpreet with new cable ties.
With the key now firmly out of reach, Vinny loses hope as it seems their last chance of escape has disappeared.
Later, in the doctor’s surgery, Liam’s concerns for Meena grow when he sees blood seeping through a dressing on her wrist.
When Liam says he knows about Meena’s fake pregnancy, she’s disturbed and threatens to accuse him of sexually harassing her at the surgery Christmas party if he doesn’t drop it.
Returning to the barn, manic Meena tells Vinny and Manpreet that Liam’s interference has escalated her plans and as a result this will be their last day alive.
Mandy’s anxiety rises when she discovers Vinny never showed up for a visit with Liv.
Meena drives the Dingle van into the barn and as she closes the doors, Manpreet and Vinny are left in mortal fear, knowing there is no escape from the exhaust fumes pouring out of the vehicle.
Will Tracy leave Emmerdale?
After a difficult few weeks with Nate (Jurell Carter), relations look set to thaw as Tracy asks him to babysit Frankie while she attends a PND seminar.
Sam (James Hooton), who is aware they’re not officially back together, offers Nate some sage advice on how to win Tracy back.
When Tracy later returns from her seminar, she tells Charity (Emma Atkins) she’s been offered a new job in Nottingham, but worries about the disruption to her personal life.
With Charity’s encouragement, Tracy decides to take the plunge and go for it.
Yet, when she breaks the news of the new Nottingham job to Nate, he’s obviously crestfallen, leaving Tracy torn.
Nate’s upset turns into anger at the revelation she is about to leave the village and he makes undermining comments about her ability to cope in a new city.
This prompts Tracy’s insecurity to resurface and she abandons the hopes of her new life as Nate guiltily realises he’s crushed her dream.
What will Tracy do?
Priya returns to work but still suffers from burns
Jai (Chris Bisson) goes to Take A Vow and asks Leyla (Roxy Shahidi) to get Priya (Fiona Wade) back working in the office.
Priya’s determined on her first day back, but her burns cause her serious discomfort.
When a forceful and unhappy client barges in, Priya’s stress levels skyrocket.
Although Priya is on the ball as she fields Cassie’s inquiries, her urge to scratch her scars gets the better of her.
When she exits the salon, she overhears Cassie making light of her scratching and leaves feeling deeply upset.
Jai and Kim struggle to pay off hefty fine
Jai and Kim (Claire King) are left reeling from the hefty Health and Safety fine they received for the accidents at the Survival Challenge.
Jai desperately turns to making a secret application to a loan company, but is left crestfallen when it’s rejected.
