A shock new owner is being teased for Emmerdale’s iconic pub The Woolpack.
As fans of Emmerdale will know, current owners of the village pub cousins Marlon and Chas Dingle have endured financial struggles in recent times.
As our colleagues at the Daily Star report, the latest issue occurred when in an attempt to make some extra cash amid the Covid-19 pandemic, Marlon came up with the idea of hosting a barbecue, and invited Matty to work for cash in hand.

But without any proper training, Matty's arm ended up engulfed in flames and he suffered gruesome burns. The character now is after compensation for the incident with actor Ash Palmisciano, who plays Matty Barton, seeing another solution to the issue.
Ash said: "I think the injury is going to cause a little bit of aggro, but fingers crossed it will go okay.
"I think Matty is going to own [The Woolpack] one day because he doesn't have a lot of jobs, so I think he is going to buy it."
