Emmerdale's Sean Spencer actor Luke Roskell unrecognisable after hunky transformation eight years on

Former Emmerdale star Luke Roskell, who is best known for his role as Sean Spencer on the ITV soap, is completely unrecognisable eight years after quitting his role.

Sean is Amelia Spencer's half brother and the son of Ali and Dan Spencer, he lived with the family at Brook Cottage. The actor first appeared in the Dales in 2011 and left three years later in 2014.

Luke's character Sean was notorious for annoying the residents and winding up his Mum's girlfriend Ruby Haswell, who he blamed for the splitting up of his family. He soon befriended Belle Dingle, who he later shared a kiss with which lead to one of his biggest storylines, the shock romance led to the death of Belle's friend Gemma.

Sean developed a friendship with Alan Turner, who was old enough to be his grandfather and later joined the army which saw him leave the village. It was later said that he had been injured during his time with the army but he has not been seen in the village since.

Eight years on from leaving the soap, Luke is completely unrecognisable to the tearaway teen we once knew.

Since leaving the Dales Luke has gone on to have a successful acting career appearing in The A Word, Jamestown and Outlander. But given his hunky transformation you may not have recognised the former soap star, he has since grown his hair out and has clearly been hitting the gym.

Luke regularly updates his Instagram followers with his life on and off-screen from skiing holidays to nights out with the lads and keeping fit hiking and boxing.

The actor mixes with multiple other familiar faces who regularly feature on his feed including ex EastEnders star Ben Hardy, Cold Feet star Cel Spellman and Pauline Quirke’s son Charlie.
