Fiona Wade enjoyed a romantic trip away with her husband after celebrating her birthday on Sunday.
Fiona plays Priya Sharma in the Dales, after taking over from Effie Woods in 2011. While her on-screen performances see her playing a 35-year-old, Fiona is actually 43.
She has been married to her husband, actor Simon Cotton, since 2019. And some soap fans may recognise him.

In 2017, Simon appeared in Emmerdale playing Home Farm client Hugh Bryant. Hugh was there as Rebecca White, played by Emily Head, had arranged a team building day for them at Tree Top Adventure World.
However, Hugh’s plans to check out Rebecca’s management skills went wrong when his car ended up on fire, which lead him to terminate his business with Home Farm. Simon has also starred in The Fall Of The Krays, The Unseen, Doctors, and Amazon Prime’s Hanna.
To celebrate Fiona's birthday, she and Simon had a "beautiful, relaxing weekend away". An adorable video uploaded to her Instagram shows the loved-up pair enjoy a luxury hotel stay, including having drinks beside a fire pit.
Fellow Emmerdale stars were quick to wish her well, with Matty actor Ash Palmisciano commenting: "Looks gorgeous you beautiful pair glad you had a nice weekend xxxx". Natalie Anderson, who played Alicia Metcalfe in the soap until 2015, said: "Beautiful birthday girl!"
