Emmerdale's Dawn Taylor will 'spiral out of control' as she hides killer secret

Emmerdale's Dawn Taylor actress Olivia Bromley revealed her character will struggle to stay in control, after killing DI Malone.

The character is headed for a downward spiral, as she faces up to becoming a murderer.

Dawn murdered corrupt officer Malone in shocking scenes this week, as he finally faced his comeuppance.

The villain was targeting Will Taylor and his family in recent months over their past, while also having a fling with Will's fiancée Harriet Finch.

But events spiralled when he tried to kill Will's daughter Dawn, after she went to the police about him.

Harriet came to her rescue, only for Malone to bounce back up and try to hurt them both.

In a major twist, Dawn turned killer and shot him three times using the gun he had terrorised her with moments earlier.

The duo panicked and decided to cover up the crime, with no one else yet aware of the truth.

But now, a guilty Dawn is set to lose control as she tries to keep her killer secret quiet.

Speaking about what is to come for the storyline, actress Olivia told Andi Peters on Lorraine that Dawn will face the desperate task of not getting caught.

She explained: "I think Dawn is gonna struggle with the guilt, and the secret is going to eat away at her.

Olivia went on: "She'd just got her life on track, she got her son back, she's got a lovely bloke Billy who is the love of her life, she's got that family unit together and now unfortunately she's in a situation where she could lose it all.

"She is trying desperately to avoid leaving her son and getting caught."

Emmerdale airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7pm on ITV.
