Emmerdale's Caleb and Nicky's future revealed after dramatic cliff fall twist

The fate of Nicky and Caleb on Emmerdale has been sealed after taut scenes.

Viewers recently saw Nicky and Caleb Miligan make peace after the latter was seen being pushed off the edge of a cliff in the forest.

In more shocking scenes, it emerged that Nicky was responsible for pushing his dad Caleb off the cliff which almost resulted in his death.

However, after it came to light that Nicky was responsible, Caleb was unsure as to whether to report his son to the police or hope that Mackenzie Boyd would take the rap.

But earlier this week, Caleb made his final decision and decided to make up a story suggesting he fell after a deer had struck him after going on a hike in the forest.

Actor Lewis Cope, who plays Nicky, has now revealed the real reason why his character decided to push his father.

Speaking to The Mirror and other press, Lewis said: "Nicky had left the village on the wedding day, but he comes back to make amends with his father. But as he’s coming back into the village, he’s found that Caleb has bought Mill Cottage and he’s given over asking price and he’s always had more than enough money, which was the reason why Nicky went along with the plan.

"He has lied to Nicky that he had no money and that his mum was going to lose the house, so the reason we were getting revenge so he could help the mum. He just lied to him all the way through and it’s only at that point that he finds out that information."

Now Gabby has been left enraged after finding out that despite their tensions, Nicky and Caleb will continue to reside in the picturesque Yorkshire village.

After putting on a brave face, the daughter of the late vicar Ashley and hairdresser Bernice issues a stern warning to Nicky.

Following their dramatic clash, Caleb begins to grow closer to Nicky as he prepares to let his guard down as they continue to bond with one another.

Over time, Caleb promises his son that over time his struggles will heal and he'll grow as a person.

Prior to the revelation that it was Nicky who pushed him off the cliff, there had been much speculation over who was responsible after he managed to become the top enemy of the village residents.

It was recently revealed he had been playing them all, including his own siblings Cain and Chas Dingle (Jeff Hordley and Lucy Pargeter) in the hope of stealing Kim Tate's (Claire King) fortune.
