The aftermath of the gun siege played out in Emmerdale tonight after Russ shot David.
Bleeding heavily from his stomach, Victoria and Wendy begged Russ to let them go so David could survive.
But Russ smashed their mobile phones so they were unable to call for help.

As David fell unconscious, Victoria was forced to take matters into her own hands, hitting Russ on the head with a fire extinguisher.
However, fans were all asking the same question about the armed police standing outside The Hideaway.
None of the officers attempted to enter the building, instead, they were seen arguing with a distraught Jacob and Bob.
