Emmerdale's Aaron Dingle set up by Mackenzie Boyd as he faces the police?

Emmerdale's Aaron Dingle faces the police next week, after deciding to team up with Mackenzie Boyd on another dodgy job.

After a risky deal with Mack and Charity Dingle last year, Aaron soon backed out and refused to go through with their criminal plan.

Despite Mack's best efforts to get him back on board, Aaron has resisted until now.

Next week, Mackenzie offers him help in tracking down Connor - the man Paul Ashdale owes thousands of pounds to.

Aaron's sister Liv is keen to track him down wondering if he was involved in the recent attack on Paul's son Vinny, believing he might know something.

With Aaron wanting to help his sister, he's keen to track down Connor himself - with Mack soon offering his assistance.

Aaron isn't sure given Mack often leads to trouble, but eventually agrees.

But Aaron soon realises he isn't helping at all, and Mack has in fact dragged him into one of his dodgy deals again.

Suggesting he takes one of Jimmy King's vans, Mackenzie tells Aaron to join him in meeting a contact in a lay-by.

Reluctant to help Mack after last time, he eventually gives in and helps him load the van with some dodgy TVs.

Suddenly the police arrive on the scene though, and the boys worry they are about to be found out.

It's what Mack does next though that could leave Aaron in serious trouble, as he does a runner as they approach.

Aaron is left alone with the van and the TVs, and has to face the music with the cops - but will he face big trouble?

If he does, surely Mack wouldn't let him take the wrap on his own - especially if fans are right in their theory that Mack could be his new love interest.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
