Emmerdale fans are welcoming back a character although they might notice a change.
Georgia Sharma is back in Emmerdale to ruffle feathers. Originally played by The Bill legend Trudie Goodwin, Georgia will now be portrayed by Lin Blakley. We know soapland is a small place with acting talents switching between shows.
Lin played the role of florist Pam in EastEnders. She’s also had parts in Doctors and Casualty.

Lin Blakley said: “How lucky am I to play such a strong character as Georgia. So different from roles I’ve played of late. I have enjoyed every single minute. Gorgeous cast and crew. And the gorgeous Dales. Thank you Emmerdale.”
Known for speaking her mind, both her ex-husband Rishi, played by Bhasker Patel, and the soon to be married couple Laurel, played by Charlotte Bellamy and Jai, played by Chris Bisson are instantly at the mercy of Georgia’s harsh opinions.
