A familiar face from Emmerdale has a very famous daughter.
Former Emmerdale star, Trudie Goodwin, is the mum of La Roux lead singer Elly Jackson.
Trudie was best known for playing Georgia Sharm in the Yorkshire soap from 2011 and 2015.

She also starred as June Ackland from 1984 until 2007 on The Bill, a role she is reprising later this year, alongside Graham Cole and Mark Wingett.
Elsewhere, Trudie has enjoyed parts in Heartbeat, Casualty and Moving On.
But you may not know, that Trudie's daughter is one-half of singing sensation La Roux.
La Roux shot to stardom in 2009 after releasing songs 'In For The Kill' and 'Bulletproof', reports LeedsLive.
Elly, along with Ben Langmaid, scored number two in the charts with their first album and bagged a number one single with the release of Bulletproof.
Ben left the group in 2012, and Elly released a second album, Trouble in Paradise, in 2014, keeping the pair's name as her stage persona.
In 2020, she released her third album, Supervision.
Over the years, the group has received award nominations for the Mercury Prize, the Brits and Ivor Novello amongst others
