Emmerdale fans 'work out' who Gabby's stalker is and they don't think it's Jamie Tate

Emmerdale fans think they've solved the identity of Gabby's mystery stalker and it's not the person she currently suspects. Ever since the new mum, played by Rosie Bentham, discovered last month that her baby's father Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln) might not have died in that horror car crash, she's been worried he would return.

After discovering Jamie's watch in his mother-in-law Hazel's empty house, Gabby knew he was alive. She later pleaded with Dawn not to tell Jamie's mum Kim Tate as she feared a custody battle, but could her secret be coming back to haunt her?

In recent scenes, a mysterious figure has been spotted on CCTV lurking around Home Farm and if the person's intention is to scare Gabby, it's certainly working. In the first instalment of special episodes on Monday, May 9, she spotted someone watching her from behind a tree as she spoke to Billy in the forest about the security situation.

She also found a torch hidden amongst the leaves, but after hiding out behind a tree to see if she could recognise the face, she bottled it and ran back to Home Farm. Fans of the Yorkshire soap are now convinced that the mysterious stalker isn't Jamie Tate, and instead another character making a return.

Taking to Twitter, viewer Mike Priestley said: "I’m questioning if that figure in the woods is Jamie Tate, I’m sure if he wanted to come back to wreak havoc surely he would of done that the other week when his mother in law came to the village. Wonder if it’s Joe Tate?".

Ryan Glendenning added: "I think it could be someone else who's scaring Gabby - Jamie seems to obvious #Emmerdale". Rachel added: "It’s too obvious to be Jamie making a come back - what if it’s Joe Tate? Please be Joe Tate!" and Caryn tweeted: "Gabby's stalker is 1000% Joe Tate and I am EXCITED #emmerdale". @ScullysScully73 added: "OOO OOO OOO I'm hoping it's Joe Tate in hiding Sod Jamie's he's tooo boring #Emmerdale".

The week of special Emmerdale episodes continue on ITV and ITV Hub from 7.30pm.
