Emmerdale fans are suggesting there might be romance blossoming between two characters.
During Monday evening’s episode, characters Leyla and Jai met to discuss Priya leaving the village for London. Both Leyla and Jai have noted histories of drug addiction - something which bonds the two.
Over a cup of coffee, Jai offered support to Leyla should she need it. Leyla said: “You’ve always been a good friend to me."

Many Emmerdale fans have now put together a theory that Leyla and Jai could become romantically involved. They’ve taken to Twitter to make their thoughts known.
We saw @gffcontwitch post: “God is Leyla after bedding jai now?” While @penniless_poet added added: “Not Jai and Leyla - almost as bad as Leyla and Dim Dave getting back to together #Emmerdale.”
Another viewer @CPTSDBiDisaster said: “David and Jai wow. Lucky Leyla.” While @JordanPhelps21, seemingly unimpressed, wrote: “Sod off Jai and Leyla.”
Elsewhere in the episode, Jai discussed the exit of his sister Priya. “I just want her to be happy,” said Jai.
