Emmerdale fans were taken aback by one character's appearance on tonight's episode.
Bear Wolf was seen looking a bit different to normal as he turned up to take Marlon Dingle to the allotment. However, Rhona told him he wasn't needed as she was off work and could look after her husband herself as she spent some time with her mum, Mary Goskirk.
The helpful character, played by Joshua Richards, normally has a big burly beard which can often look rather unkempt. But in tonight's episode the beard seemed much smaller and his face was clearer to see as he looked freshly groomed.

Fans on Twitter noticed that the ITV soap character had a bit of a "makeover". They took to Twitter to appreciate the new look.
Sal said: "How long has Bear Wolf had a shorter beard? This is a serious question #Emmerdale" Gav said: "Nearly didn’t recognise Bear with the short beard #Emmerdale" Matthew said: "Have they given Bear a mini makeover! #Emmerdale @MrBadger62 @memesEmmerdale."
It turned out Mary wanted a quiet word with her daughter as she came out as a lesbian to her. The on-screen mum and daughter had a sweet heart-to-heart talk about how Mary had spent her past, with Rhona asking questions about her relationship with her dad.
