Emmerdale fans know we’ll soon be saying goodbye to Darcy Grey and they have a theory on how his character Marcus Dean will leave.
As we reported earlier this week, Darcy Grey, 31, who plays Marcus Dean, has filmed in final scenes in the soap. The acting star only joined Emmerdale back in 2022.
A source said: “His time in the village came to a natural end. Darcy is keen to spread his wings but the door has been left open.”

During Friday evening’s episode of Emmerdale, viewers saw a real strain between the relationship between partners Marcus Dean and Ethan Anderson. Many Emmerdale fans have taken to Twitter to state they believe this is how Marcus will leave the village.
One fan @RyanTheSoapking said: “How many times are Ethan & Marcus going to do this??? Constantly going around in circles. They just need to call it a day now #Emmerdale.”
Another @EnfieldGarry added: “Yeah walk out Marcus. #Emmerdale.” While @tellyaddict40 posted: “I can’t wait for Marcus to leave.”
While @geordiegalg said: “Marcus has been such a waste of a character. There seems to be literally no point in having him being related to Pierce at all. #Emmerdale.”
As Emmerdale fans know, Marcus was introduced as notorious murdering rapist Pierce Harris' long-lost son and his arrival rocked victim Rhona Gorskirk, who was married to and raped by the evil village resident. Rhona encouraged Marcus to stay in the village after realising he was nothing like her ex-husband.
