Emmerdale fans were left horrified tonight as Laurel suggested a plan to Gabby.
Tonight's episode saw a pregnant Gabby in hospital after she had collapsed.
Gabby told Kim that the baby's father Jamie had watched her collapse and waited for several minutes before getting help for her.
Kim went home to Jamie and told him: "I'm ashamed, beyond ashamed, I thought you were kind giving and generous, I got that so wrong, whoever this heartless coward is hes not my son."
Gabby then spoke to Laurel about how worried she was about having the child.
She said: "Jamie really hates me, he tried to trick me into getting rid of it, how can I have a child whose dad wishes he was never born.
"What if Jamie's right and I'm not ready to do this on my own."
Laurel said that Gabby had her whole family around to help her, but as Gabby continued to worry Laurel came up with a plan.
Laurel said: "If you decide to keep the child, me and Jai can do it, we'll look after your baby for you.
"We will raise your child, think about it, it might be the best option of all."

But Emmerdale fans were shocked by Laurel's suggestion, especially since she had recently aborted a baby with Down Syndrome.
Jordanphelps002 said: "Laurel no that’s not a good idea."
Jehan said: "What is Laurel thinking? how is Jay going to feel about Laurel's offer to Gabby that they raise her baby without even talking to him about it first? I can't see Kim letting it happen."
Bex Charlotte said: "What!!?? No Laurel, no!"
And Gary Enfield said: "You what Laurel, oh blimey!"
