Emmerdale's Meena Jutla launched a savage attack on her sister as her killer plan unravelled.
The serial killer - played by Paige Sandhu - has already murdered four people so far, and it looks like her sister Manpreet Sharma could be next on the list as Meena fumed over her ruined plans.
Meena had originally planned to slowly drug her sister - who she has been holding hostage - over the next seven days, but her plans were dealt with a blow after it was revealed Wendy would be back home soon.
Earlier in the episode, Meena had been quizzed by police about her sister's whereabouts.
Returning to where she has been keeping her sibling, Meena screamed as she said: "Now, Mulder and Scully are coming back round to poke their noses in. I don't know why you're whining!
"I'm the one who is going to have to rethink my whole week. What am I supposed to do with you now? Go straight to day 7?"
Meena then looked over towards a pestle and mortar by Manpreet's bedside as she considered what to do.
Viewers were even more horrified as Meena was later seen with a black body bag, which she dragged to her car under the cover of nightfall. It seemed to be confirmed that it was Manpreet inside as Meena knelt down to speak to her sister.
Pulling the body bag into the boot of her car, she twistedly apologised to her sister and said she was sorry it hand to end that way.
Taking to social media to vent their fears, one fan wrote: " @emmerdale …Is she…..DEAD," but another was hopeful this was the start of Meena's downfall, as they added: "Ooh Meena slipped up tonight! Is this gonna be the start of her downfall x ooh."
Manpreet is in a tricky position as Meena has confessed all her crimes to her, including the murders of her friend Nadine as well as village residents Ben Tucker, Andrea Tate and Leanna Cavanagh.
"Now, there was quite a gap between Nadine and Leanna. But when the moment came I was so ready for it. She really should have kept her nose out of my business," she chillingly said, "Then after Leanna there was Andrea - magic number three. How about Ben. Poor, sweet little Ben. I’d been caught on one of his little camera things trying to drown Victoria by the waterfall and there we go."
