Emmerdale viewers believe Chas Dingle should leave the village after Paddy’s heart-breaking attempt to take his own life.
During Friday's episode of the ITV soap, viewers witnessed a heart-wrenching scene as Marlon and Chas found Paddy in a field holding a gun. Marlon was left horrified when he found out Paddy didn’t want to live anymore and begged him to return to the village.
After chatting to best friend he decided against taking his own life and was taken back to the village
Once at home Paddy broke down and sobbed in his dad's arms. He now has a long road to recovery ahead as his mental health remains at rock bottom.
Later on, Chas was talking to the family at The Woolpack about Paddy’s attempt to take his own life. Teenager April overheard Chas and came rushing around to Paddy's house begging him not to take his life.
Viewers were left “sobbing” at the scene as they slammed Chas, who cheated on Paddy with Al Chapman, for being around him and suggested she should leave the village so Paddy can “heal.” @RyanTheSoapking Tweeted: “Chas should leave the village to give Paddy some space. He's done nothing wrong and needs time and space to heal. #Emmerdale.”
