She's not exactly old enough in normal terms, but Emma Watson is retiring from acting at the tender age of 30 according to reports.
The English actress who was born in Paris became a Hollywood star after securing the role of Hermione Granger in global movie franchise Harry Potter aged ten.
The part was her first acting role since appearing in school plays and it brought her worldwide acclaim, fame and fortune.
However, Emma who subsequently appeared in The Bling Ring, Beauty and The Beast and Little Women as well as modelling for brands like Burberry and Lancome, appears to be needing big rest.
Her agent told The Daily Mail that she is now “dormant” from her career and won’t be taking on any new projects for the foreseeable future.
It is rumoured the star wants to spend more quality time with her rumoured fiancé Leo Robinton who she has been seeing for 18 months.
Emma has previously said of her dating life: "The boyfriends or partners I’ve had have generally made me feel really cherished. They’ve built me up.”
She famously told Vogue magazine in November 2019 that she was “self-partnered” – despite possibly dating Leo for over a year.
She said at the time: "I never believed the whole 'I'm happy single' spiel.
"It took me a long time, but I’m very happy [being single]. I call it being self-partnered."
After she was spotted with a ring on her wedding finger when she was seen at an airport in LA rumours that she was engaged to Leo began circulating.
It was also reported the loved up pair jetted off to Mexico together for a pre-Valentine's trip.
It could be that Emma just needs some extra romance time after lockdown.
