Eminem’s daughter Alaina Marie Scott has revealed she is expecting her first child with husband Matt Moeller.
The 31-year-old shared the happy news in an emotional Instagram post alongside a series of touching photos.
In one, the couple beamed as they held up a tiny baby onesie in a sunlit field, while another showed Moeller blindfolded before being surprised with balloons, baby Nike sneakers and a positive pregnancy test.
“The best of you and me,” Alaina captioned the post. “For months, I’ve carried a tiny heartbeat inside me, one that has already changed mine in every possible way. There’s something indescribable about knowing there’s a little life growing, dreaming and becoming, all while you go about your day, whispering prayers and hopes only they can hear.
“I’ve never felt more grateful for this gift and to grow our family, something we’ve wanted for so long. Thank you, God, for this blessing. Baby M, we can’t wait to meet you, little one.”
Her sister, Hailie Jade, who recently became a mother herself, was quick to comment: “Sooo happy for you guys. Can’t wait to be this little one’s auntie and Elliot is so excited to meet his cousin.”
Eminem’s brother, Nathan, added: “Congrats! I’m so excited for you guys! You’re gonna be great parents. Stop making me old lol.”
Meanwhile, Moeller shared his own heartfelt message: “The way you show love, kindness and patience makes me so proud and honoured to have you as my wife — and now the mother of our first child.”
Alaina and Moeller married last summer after getting engaged in 2021, celebrating with an intimate ceremony in Detroit that saw her famous father walk her down the aisle.
Eminem — real name Marshall Mathers — shares daughters Alaina, Hailie and Stevie Laine with his ex-wife Kim Scott. Alaina is Kim’s late sister’s daughter, whom the rapper legally adopted in the early 2000s after her mother’s struggles with addiction.
The 51-year-old star became a grandfather for the first time earlier this year when Hailie welcomed her son, Elliot. In past interviews, Eminem has said fatherhood keeps him grounded, once telling Rolling Stone: “I’m not saying I’m the perfect dad, but the most important thing is to be there for my kids and raise them the right way.”
