Emerson, Mason Mount, Tammy Abraham - Expected Chelsea line-up for Frank Lampard's debut match

Frank Lampard will take charge of his first Chelsea match as head coach against Bohemians FC in Dublin.

The Blues have been in Ireland as part of their pre-season preparations since Friday. Next week they will look ahead to the next stage of their summer tour as they travel to Japan.

Monday saw the squad size swell to more than 30 when the majoirty of first team players arrived at the training camp.

The first pre-season match is always something of a lottery when it comes to the fitness of the players, but with a busy schedule of seven matches in five different countries, Lampard will begin trying to work out his strongest side in earnest.

Most of the players will be getting no more than 45 minutes of play, with another match scheduled on Saturday against St Patrick's Athletic in Dublin.

Frank Lampard's first Chelsea press conference in full

Lampard may look to mix up the side with some youth and experience, however he only has a month to find out his best team ahead of Manchester United on August 11.

There are a few players who are still not part of the squad, with Antonio Rudiger, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Reece James being left at Cobham to recover from their injuries.

Meanwhile, Willian is also out with an injury suffered in the Copa America, with Christian Pulisic given time off to recover from the CONCACAF Gold Cup.

But with little time to get his team together, Lampard will be looking to see how his strongest team can gel in the system that he wants them to play in.

Predicted Chelsea XI for first half: Kepa; Azpilicueta, Luiz, Christensen, Emerson; Jorginho, Kante; Pedro, Barkley, Mount; Abraham.

Predicted Chelsea XI for second half: Caballero; Zappacosta, Zouma, Ampadu, Alonso; Kovacic, Bakayoko; Kenedy, Baker, Palmer; Giroud.

Other players in the squad: Cumming, Sterling, Chalobah, Guehi, Tomori, Maatsen, Drinkwater, Gallager, Gilmour, Brown, Piazon, Ugbo, Batshuayi.

Bohemians last XI (July 5): Talbot; Pender, Leahy, Finnerty, Kirk; Buckley, Levingston; Swan, Mandroiu, Ward; Corcoran.
