Emergency services rush to scene of 'serious' crash in Dungarvan, Co Waterford

Emergency services are dealing with a bad crash in Co Waterford.

Part of Shandon Road in Dungarvan has been closed due to the collision this afternoon.

The road closure is in place between Fairlane roundabout and Dungarvan Fire Station due to what is described by AA Roadwatch as a "serious" crash.

Emergency services have responded and are at the scene.

Motorists wishing to travel in the area have been advised to find an alternative route.
