Emergency services race to scene of 'ongoing incident' at Scots train station

Emergency services have scrambled to the scene of an "ongoing incident" at Falkirk High train station.

Scores of cops can be seen in the area and Slammanan Road nearby has also been closed to traffic and pedestrians.

Train services between Edinburgh and Glasgow have been cancelled.

In a tweet, ScotRail said: "The emergency services are dealing with an incident in the Falkirk area, and services between Queen Street/Edinburgh and Falkirk High may be delayed or revised.

It added: "A lot of services are being disrupted in and around that area due to the emergency services dealing with an incident near Falkirk."

Locals are being asked to avoid the area.
