Emergency services race to 'incident' near Falkirk as train services disrupted

Emergency services have raced to an incident near Falkirk this evening.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are not yet known but train services in the area were disrupted as officers dealt with the incident near Camelon.

Services travelling through the area at the time were to be cancelled, delayed or revised.

Scot Rail tweeted : "The emergency services are dealing with an incident near Camelon, services travelling through this station will be cancelled, delayed or revised."

It is understood emergency services now have now dealt with the incident and lines are expected to reopen soon.

British Transport Police have been contacted for comment.
