Emergency services on the scene of "ongoing incident" at Prestwick Town train station

Emergency services are tonight dealing with an "ongoing incident" at Prestwick town train station.

Rail services are not scheduled to stop in the town until 10pm at the earliest tonight.

A post on ScotRail's official Twitter reads: "The emergency services are dealing with an incident at Prestwick Town station.

"Train services will run non-stop through there until 22:00 tonight at the earliest.

"Thanks for your understanding if you're travelling on this route tonight."
