Ellie Warner's photo of boyfriend Nat sparks wave of support from fans as he 'fights for life'

A photo Ellie Warner posted of her boyfriend Nat Eddleston has been met with a wave of support after he was left with life threatening injuries in a car accident.

On the same night that Ellie and sister Izzi were watched by millions of viewers on the latest episode of the Channel 4 show's new series, Nat was hit by a car in Leeds on Friday night and is said to have suffered a broken neck and collapsed lung as a result.

Nat, who like Ellie is in his 30s, was reportedly knocked down by a white car shortly after midnight after meeting friends for drinks at a pub in the Halton area of the city. As West Yorkshire police made an appeal for information, The Mirror reported that Nat was in a 'critical but stable' condition in hospital.

Ellie is said to have been by Nat's side all week as she has been inundated with messages of support from Gogglebox fans and co-stars. And a photo she posted of Nat on Valentine's Day has now prompted an ever growing number of well wishes from fans in its comments section.

One fan replied: "Hey girly, you keep those thoughts positive. I broke my back and neck in 5 places and I’m up and about. Nat’s absolutely got this!! Sending big hugs your way."

Another of Ellie's many followers posted: "sending all the positive vibes possible... thinking of you all and sending out thoughts for a speedy recovery," with a third writing: "ending you lots of love. I had the same injuries 30 years ago in an accident and although it’s a tough road he will get through it. I’m only saying this so you know people get through it. Sending lots of positive vibes to you."
