Electric Picnic 2022: Arctic Monkeys and Snow Patrol to headline festival as impressive line-up of acts announced

Electric Picnic has announced its stellar line-up for this year's festival, which last took place in 2019.

Electric Picnic takes place on Friday, September 24 until Sunday, September 26 at Stradbally Hall, Co Laois.

Tickets will go on sale on Friday, March 11 and the line-up has just been announced.

Headlining the festival is acts such as Tame Impala, Megan Thee Stallion, Arctic Monkeys, Snow Patrol and Dermot Kennedy.

Other acts that are included in the star-studded line-up are Anne Marie, The Kooks, London Grammar, Fintaines DC, CMAT, Griff, Willow, Tolu Makay and Saint Sister.

Festival organisers say of the event: "With a great selection of music, art, theatre, comedy, food and holistic health, it’s the most delightfully diverse end of summer party on the Emerald Isle."

Ticketmaster is the official ticket agent for Electric Picnic tickets, which go on sale tomorrow at 9am.

"After two very long years, we’re delighted to finally say that we’ll be announcing the Electric Picnic 2022 line up next Thursday 10th March, with tickets going on sale the following morning, 11th March at 11am," festival organisers previously said on social media.

Electric Picnic's last line-up in 2019 included Irish and international stars such as Hozier, Billie Eilish, The Strokes, The 1975, Kodaline and Years and Years.
