Elderly shelter dog’s bid to find a forever home

Peanut, a seven-year-old pitbull, consistently carries a cuddly toy to greet visitors at her kennel and takes one on walks, hoping to find a permanent home.
Transferred to the Humane Society of Broward County (HSBC) in Florida, Peanut was frequently overlooked for adoption due to her age.
Despite her situation, HSBC described her as "silly, sweet, and full of love" and decided to post a video showcasing her with her beloved toys.
The video successfully encouraged someone to adopt Peanut, and she has now found her forever home.
