El Chapo's Granddaughter Joins Loch Ness Monster Hunt In Scotland

'El Chapo's granddaughter hunts for Loch Ness Monster

Legends of the Loch Ness Monster have captivated imaginations since the 1870s, with sightings and stories spreading globally from the 1930s. Recently, Frida Sofia Guzmán Muñoz, the teenage granddaughter of notorious drug kingpin Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzmán, has made headlines for her unexpected interest in the mythical creature.

Frida, aged 18, shared her adventures on social media, documenting her tour of England and Scotland. Among her posts was a picture of her cruising on Loch Ness, sparking rumors that she was on the lookout for the elusive monster. Her Scottish itinerary also included a Johnnie Walker whiskey tasting and a visit to the historic Edinburgh Castle. In England, Frida explored iconic landmarks such as Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London.

Notably, Frida is the daughter of Édgar Guzmán López, El Chapo's eldest son, who tragically lost his life in 2008. Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzmán himself is infamous for his involvement in drug trafficking, money laundering, and weapons-related crimes. In 2019, he was convicted and sentenced to life in prison, currently serving time in a high-security facility in Colorado known as 'the Alcatraz of the Rockies.'

El Chapo, as he is commonly known, founded the Sinaloa cartel in 1989, overseeing the smuggling of vast quantities of cocaine, heroin, and marijuana into the United States. Despite his incarceration, Guzmán had previously managed to escape from Mexican prisons on two occasions, further adding to his notoriety.

As Frida Sofia Guzmán Muñoz continues her exploration of Scotland and England, her unexpected interest in the Loch Ness Monster has piqued curiosity and drawn attention to her family's controversial legacy. The convergence of ancient folklore and modern-day intrigue in this story serves as a reminder of the enduring fascination with mysteries and legends that capture the human imagination.
