EIGHT people have been charged and four were taken to hospital following a “disturbance” in central Glasgow.
Police said they were called to reports of an incident at a premises on St Enoch Square at around 6.15pm on Saturday evening.
Emergency services attended and four people were taken to hospital for treatment before being discharged.
Six men, aged between 31 and 41, and two women, aged 40 and 43, were arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
They are due to appear in court in due course.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.15pm on Saturday April 19 2025, we were called to reports of a disturbance at a premises on St Enoch Square in Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended and four people were taken to hospital for treatment before being discharged.
“Six men, aged 31, 33, 34, 36, 37 and 41, and two women, aged 40 and 43, were arrested and charged in connection with the incident.”
