Egypt and Russia stressed their support for the establishment of a comprehensive and just peace for the Palestinian cause according to international resolutions.
This came in a phone call between both countries’ foreign ministers on Tuesday, during which they discussed developments in the Middle East.
According to Egyptian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Hafez, FM Sameh Shoukry received a call from his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov and discussed crises in Libya and Syria and means of finding comprehensive solutions for them.
Both ministers also agreed to continue working on bolstering bilateral relations in various fields and the importance of continued coordination and consultation on all issues of common interest.
