Reported Arsenal target Eduardo Camavinga has made a definitive decision over his next destination.
That is according to RMC Sport, via GFFN, who say that the 18-year-old wants to leave Rennes in the coming months and join fellow French club Paris Saint-Germain.
Camavinga has reportedly informed the Ligue 1 side that he will not sign an extension on his current contract, with his deal set to expire next summer.
The French midfielder has been in talks over extending his contract for "several months" but his wage demands were considered as too expensive by Rennes and an exit now looks imminent.
Camavinga apparently wants to stay in France to continue his rapid development and considers PSG the best place to do that.
However, negotiations with Rennes will not be easy, with the club reportedly demanding €100million for the highly-rated teenager, despite there being just over one year remaining on his current deal.
Arsenal were linked with a move for the Frenchman, with the Gunners looking for their biggest squad overhaul in decades, football.london understands.
Recent reports coming from France suggested that Arsenal had made Camavinga a priority signing ahead of the summer transfer window, but football.london has learned that is not the case.
The Rennes starlet played 35 times for his side in Ligue 1 throughout the 2020/21 season, scoring one goal and providing two assists in the process.
The likes of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Arsenal and PSG have all been credited with an interest over the past 12 months, with his stock in Europe continuing to rise.
But if these reports are to be believed, then Camavinga may be staying in France for the meantime.
