The aftermath of Sunday's flash floods are continuing to come to light in Edinburgh after the freak storm took hold of the city.
Images, shared with Edinburgh Live, show two pensioners were forced to climb up a city centre bus stop to keep themselves dry, after the water quickly left them stranded.
The thunderstorm saw an excessive amount of water fall in just a few minutes, with drains quickly overflowing, with the rest spilling out onto the streets.

According to a local resident, the pair of pensioners had been caught out while waiting for a bus on Roseburn Terrace, as the deep water spread across the road and pavement.
With one woman seen lifting her legs up onto the seat, the gentleman next to her had climbed all the way up onto the bench, holding his shopping bags tightly.
The pair were later rescued and given a lift home by a kind passerby.
Hitting the capital at around 5pm, the thunderstorm saw huge chunks of the city centre submerged, with those living in basement flats hugely affected by the water.
Stockbridge was also seen to be one of the worst impacted areas as cars struggled to get down the popular street, meanwhile shop owners struggled to keep the water out.
The St James Quarter was also forced to section of part of the complex after rain had cascaded down through an open section of the roof structure, falling for three floors before flooding the Boots store in the basement.
