Edinburgh is set to bask in sunshine for much of Friday.
Well, maybe that's a bit far, but things are forecast to be much better than they were on Thursday.
Experts at the Met Office say we should see a cloudy start before the sun comes out in the early afternoon – with blue skies sticking around until it gets dark around 4pm.
The winds should be nowhere near as strong, but you'll likely still feel their force at times – particularly in the late afternoon.
Rain is unlikely and temperatures should be around 9C or 10C for the most part.
So overall it seems we're in for a bright and sunny winter's day.
