Weather forecasters have said that the capital is set to see some high temperatures this week with it set to spike towards the weekend.
According to the Met Office, Edinburgh is set for three days of sunshine and thankfully not a long of rain is in sight.
Experts at the BBC have said the same with them predicting that from Friday (August 26), the city will see highs of 19C with the same set to happen on Saturday.

It will then dip every so slightly on Sunday where temperatures are set to reach 18C with a low of 10C. On Friday there are set to be lows of 11C whilst 9C is set for Saturday.
However the Met Office has predicted highs of 23C on Tuesday (August 23) with the BBC having predicted highs of 22C.

This Evening and Tonight
Cloudy and overcast with occasional rain and drizzle, mostly confined to Dumfries and Galloway. Mist and fog possible over the hills. It will be a mild night and winds mostly light. Minimum temperature 14C.
Tuesday
A cloudy start with patchy rain and mist. Brighter conditions developing during the day with a scattering of showers. Warm in any sunshine. Maximum temperature 23C.
Outlook for Wednesday to Friday
Heavy rain overnight and early Wednesday, becoming drier and brighter during the day. Mainly dry and bright on Thursday. Rain or showers on Friday.
